La pubblicazione di questo dépliant d’epoca vuole ricordare la figura del Dott. Bernardo Battilana (1927-2009) , ex Sindaco di Voltaggio e discendente del pittore Sinibaldo Scorza .
This old-style brochure wants to recall the person of Dr. Bernardo Battilana (1927-2009) , former Major of Voltaggio and descendant of the painter Sinibaldo Scorza .
Tra il 1967 e il 1971 fu Presidente del “Comitato per il riordino e la sistemazione della Pinacoteca” che portò alla realizzazione dell’attuale Quadreria con le due nuove sale espositive .
Tornò ad ammirare i quadri custoditi nella Pinacoteca Cappuccina per l’ultima volta in occasione dell’apertura serale dell’11 Agosto 2008 .
Between 1967 and 1971 he was President of the “The Art Gallery Committee for the reorganisation and arrangement” which helped the realisation of the actual picture-gallery with the two new expositive areas.
He saw the paintings in the Monks’ Art Gallery for the last time on August 11th 2008 in occasion of a night opening.
