L’Associazione “L’Arcangelo” nasce dall’iniziativa di un gruppo di volontari con l’intento di valorizzare e promuovere la Pinacoteca Cappuccina di Voltaggio e di consolidarne l’importanza quale polo culturale e turistico per tutto il territorio ligure e piemontese.

La Pinacoteca, inserita nella splendida cornice del Convento annesso alla Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo ,custodisce un’importante raccolta di tele dal Cinquecento al Settecento ,a carattere religioso,di autori genovesi e lombardi quali S.Scorza,D.Fiasella,B.Strozzi,M.Preti e L.Cambiaso.

I volontari dell’Associazione vi accompagneranno alla scoperta di questo tesoro artistico con la possibilità di prenotare visite guidate per gruppi.

Inoltre,l’Associazione si propone di organizzare eventi culturali,musicali e religiosi e promuovere iniziative atte alla valorizzazione e al recupero del patrimonio artistico,monumentale e culturale del Comune di Voltaggio.

The “Arcangelo” Association was established by a group of volunteers to exploit and to promote the Art Gallery of Voltaggio and to consolidate its importance as a cultural and a tourist pole for the entire territory of Liguria and Piedmont.

The Art Gallery is located in the wonderful area of the monastery next to St. Michael Church and preserves an important religious collection of paintings by famous authors from Genoa and Lombardy such as S. Scorza, D. Fiasella, B. Strozzi, M. Preti and L. Cambiaso.

The volunteers will take you to discover this artistic treasure, with the possibility to book guided tours for groups or schools

Furthermore, the Association will be able to organize cultural, musical and religious events and will be able to promote enterprises for the exploitation and the recovery of the artistic, the monumental and the cultural heritage of the town of Voltaggio.
